Body Beautiful is the first and, at present, only operator of cosmetic surgery holidays to Kuala Lumpur to medically screen all of their clients, in the UK prior to travelling, to assess your current health status so that you can confidently travel abroad for cosmetic surgery without the fear of cancellation upon arrival due to undetected ill health knowing that you are fit and healthy to undergo both the procedures you desire and general anaesthesia. The screening has been carefully developed by leading healthcare specialists in the UK and the Consultants we work with in Malaysia comprising of no less than 44 separate diagnostic blood/clotting tests. This, in turn, gives invaluable peace of mind. The medical screening takes places at a hospital convenient to your place of residence and/or work.

We at Body Beautiful appreciate the importance and need of compression in the pursuit of optimum results, faster wound healing and reducing the risk of complications. Post-operative compression garments are a vital part of the recovery process but can be very expensive. However, the cost of such garments, are included within our surgery packages unlike most other operators. A high quality, properly fitted post operative compression garment can aid in body contouring and skin retraction while helping to reduce swelling and flushing your body of potentially harmful fluids. Compression garments also are very important for your comfort.

Body Beautiful is the first and, at present, only operator of cosmetic surgery holidays to Kuala Lumpur to offer a post-operative assessment following your return to the UK which will supplement the after care that you receive from the Consultants and our staff whilst in Malaysia. The management of post-operative wounds can become especially challenging if complicated by an infection, dehiscence, and fistula formation. These are all risks associated with cosmetic surgery whether surgery takes place at home or abroad. Clinical infection occurs when the bacteria colonisation in and around the wound site rises to a critical level and can lead to a deterioration of the wound condition. Wound healing may then be severely compromised. Whilst your Consultant in Malaysia will have clinically reviewed the wounds and incisions before your return to the UK to ensure that there are no such complications and everything is healing well, for further peace of mind, our post-operative assessment in the UK will ensure that you are reviewed again subsequently, in the comfort on your own home, by a private fully qualified Doctor who will give specific advice on the clinical condition of the wound/incision and what action should be taken, in the unlikely event, that a problem is developing. We will also liaise with you to ensure that you receive the most appropriate medical advice. Further, as part of our post-operative assessment, non-dissolvable sutures will also be removed in accordance with your Consultants instructions as can any dissolvable sutures that are not dissolving sufficiently:-
